Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler with strong attention to detail and a willingness to be cross-trained in various areas. In this role, you will be part of a mini production line processing modems through a 12-step process.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document incoming modems.

• Perform factory resets by manually pressing a button.

• Conduct automatic tests to determine necessary repairs.

• Perform Wi-Fi tests and elevated temperature tests.

• Conduct cosmetic cleaning and repairs.

• Perform In Process Quality Control (IPQC).

• Kit, pack out, and build pallets.

• Prepare shipments for dispatch.

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail.

• Comfortable being on feet for the entire day.

• Ability to work well with others.

• Willingness to be cross-trained in various areas.

• Hand dexterity.

• Punctuality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, packing, retail, repair, or refurbishing.

• Knowledge of quality inspection, soldering, and use of test equipment.

• Ability to operate RF scanners, computers, and power tools.

Work Environment

You will work in a brand new facility with locker areas and a cafeteria equipped with refrigerators and microwaves. The facility is conveniently located close to gas stations and restaurants. Weekend day shifts are Friday to Sunday from 5am to 5pm, and weekend night shifts are Friday to Sunday from 5pm to 5am. You will work 36 hours but get paid for 40 hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
