Oferta de trabajo: Facilities Maintenance Tech (Facilities Maintenance Technician)

FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN We are looking for a motivated self-starter to take on repairs and preventative maintenance of our facility and systems. Tasks may include basic carpentry, mechanical and electric repairs, painting, grounds-keeping, oversight of facility systems, development of periodic inspection and servicing checklists, sourcing parts, coordinating contractors, and, any other reasonable or related duties as assigned by the Shelter Manager. In times of need, the candidate may be required to assist with basic animal care functions as well. The candidate should be prepared for the occasional urgent repair situation after hours. Skills Required: Basic Carpentry Basic Mechanical Basic Electrical Painting Ability to read schematics and blueprints Basic system troubleshooting The candidate must possess good communication skills and must be comfortable working with volunteers and donors. Compensation: Commensurate with experience, non-exempt. Reports to: Shelter Manager and regular interface with the Shelter Maintenance Committee.
