Transform architectural concepts into detailed drawings and models suitable for manufacturing. Create models for each item, ensuring they are consistent with best manufacturing practices. Submit drawings for approval, generate laser cut sheets, bend drawings or codes, tubing cut lists, and assembly drawings for new projects. Compile material, labor, and cost takeoffs from customer-provided drawings. Communicate with outside suppliers for lead time and pricing, create project schedules, and serve as a liaison for customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Transform concepts in architectural drawings, renderings, and isometric drawings into manufacturable items.

• Create detailed models and drawings consistent with best manufacturing practices.

• Submit drawings to the Engineering Manager for approval.

• Generate laser cut sheets, bend drawings or codes, tubing cut lists, and assembly drawings for new projects.

• Compile material, labor, and cost takeoffs from customer-provided drawings.

• Communicate with outside suppliers for lead time and pricing of purchased materials.

• Create project schedules based on estimated timelines.

• Serve as a liaison for communication with customers.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software.

• Experience in mechanical engineering, project management, and estimation.

• Ability to use estimating software applications and spreadsheets.

• B.S in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or similar).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and suppliers.

• Attention to detail in creating models and drawings.

Work Environment

On-site work is required 5 days a week with no travel needed. The role provides an opportunity to gain experience in engineering, project management, and estimation while managing multiple projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
