About the role

Gordian, the world's leading provider of facility and construction cost data, software, and services for all phases of the building lifecycle, is searching for a talented and experienced enterprise and product architecture leader to join the R&D team. The Senior Director of Enterprise Architecture will ensure Gordian’s product architecture aligns with the business objectives and technical requirements, and that it is scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : Provide leadership in defining the core technologies, development tools, methodologies, and architectural standards

• Team Leadership : Lead and manage the product architecture team, ensuring that all members are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives

• Innovation and Strategy : Inspire new innovations and develop long-term technology strategies and roadmaps to meet business and product delivery goals

• Stakeholder Engagement : Regularly communicate with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, IT, and development teams, to ensure alignment on architectural vision

• Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation to clearly articulate design decisions, system architecture, and technical standards.

• Change Management : Lead change management to smoothly integrate new technologies and processes company-wide.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 15+ years of experience in software development and architecture

• 10+ years of experience leading technical teams

• Excellent communication, change management, and leadership skills

• Expert in Agile, Scrum, and architecture methodologies

• Expertise in dotNet framework and Microsoft Azure
