Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembler

Job Description

We design, manufacture, and powder coat metal fuel tanks, skids, frames, trailers, and other related products. Assemblers will be building house data generators for major companies. This role involves teamwork, precision, and handling various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Team lifting panels to slide into the frames (50+ lbs)

  • Using hand and power tools to assemble sides and panels of the frames together

  • Performing hand assembly tasks such as putting nuts on bolts

  • Cutting insulation using a utility knife and installing it into the frames

  • Basic math skills

  • Cross training with the paint department

  • Other duties as needed

  • Climbing ladders/platform stairs for some assembly tasks

Essential Skills

  • Experience with hand and power tools

  • 6 months - 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs

  • Basic math skills

  • Blueprint reading and tape measure experience for higher-level assembler roles

  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and quality inspection

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to manufacturing (metal is ideal)

  • Experience with air tools

Work Environment

This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday through Thursday from 2pm to 12am. There is a $3 shift premium for 2nd shift. Once trained, employees can volunteer for the person on Fridays and Saturdays. Pay ranges from $19-21 based upon experience. First shift hours are 4:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Thursday. The team typically consists of 4-5 people, with at least one trained individual overseeing the work station. The facility emphasizes teamwork and safety, with a focus on quality production.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
