Summary of Position:
The Coordinator will actively contribute to grant proposal development, collaborating on project goals and ensuring compliance with submission criteria. Proficiency in utilizing online tools for accessing key grant fund sources is essential. Responsibilities encompass creating production calendars and providing monthly progress reports. The position involves performing technical tasks for data collection and analysis, researching grant opportunities, coordinating the grant development process, and preparing regular reports for competitive grant projects. The Coordinator will provide support to the Grant Director and Dean for various grant functions.
Minimum Required Education:
Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at state level accredited institution of higher education required.
Minimum Required Experience:
Four years of experience in grant development and writing required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled in the development of grant reports to the various funding agencies
- Proficient in utilizing online information and application tools for these key grant fund sources
- Ability to maintain positive organizational relationships, partnerships, and alliances with grant partners both internal and external organizations
- Experience developing and managing project budgets
- Intermediate-advanced computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, graphs/charts, and internet research.
- Excellent reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills; high-level analytic skills;
- Ability to accomplish professional research and understand data;
- Ability to research potential funding sources and communicate with potential applicants;
- Ability to process and analyze information accurately;
- Ability to maintain consistency in actions and practices
- Demonstrated skills in a variety of computer software applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and statistical software)
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with other team members and exercise sound judgment
- Detail oriented, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Ability to in the use of technology and virtual meeting platforms
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes

Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thu 7:30am-5:30am Fri 7:30am-11:30am
