Job Title: Compliance and Safety Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Safety Coordinator to develop and implement company-wide compliance programs, including safety, quality, and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will support and lead internal audits and investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant systems and standards.
$27 - $36
7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Responsibilities
Develop and implement company-wide compliance programs (safety, quality, training).
Support and lead internal audits and investigations.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and training systems.
Design and deliver training programs for employees.
Maintain ISO 9001 standards and improve quality programs.
Oversee safety programs and conduct regular safety audits.
Investigate accidents and report to SAIF and OSHA.
Coordinate Safety Committee efforts.
Handle customer compliance documentation and use online request programs.
Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects.
Maintain GMP food safety program to AIB standards.
Train employees on food safety and compliance programs.
Monitor and schedule training sessions, record activities in the database.
Conduct forklift certification training.
Ensure pre-hire requirements and new hire training are completed.
Essential Skills
2+ years in compliance management in manufacturing/production.
Proven success in compliance initiatives.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
Relevant coursework/training or work experience in compliance.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
Understanding of GMP food safety requirements (e.g., AIB standards).
Ability to create and present training materials.
Strong multitasking skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Internal audit certification/experience preferred.
Bonus: Forklift trainer certification (required post-employment if not already certified).

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $75000.00/yr.
