JOB SUMMARY
The Development Director is chiefly responsible for the strategic direction and management of CampVs development initiatives. They develop and implement strategic plans to raise funds in a cost-effective and time- efficient manner. They are responsible for new donor cultivation and donor retention. They work closely with their development committee, marketing committee, and board members to ensure the organizations financial sustainability and growth. They prepare and present reports on the progress of development initiatives to the board and other stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
Donor Development
Identify and cultivate potential donors for major gifts, corporations, and monthly giving.
Secure new grant opportunities while managing relationships with existing donor foundations. Launch Capital Campaign as approved by the board.
Create and implement donor stewardship programs to include customized messages, newsletter, and direct mail initiatives.
Fundraising Projects
Manage fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and events.
Develop and execute annual giving campaign, East Texas Giving Day, Veteran Valor Pledge.
Secure sponsorships for fundraising events, such as Rose City AirFest and other scheduled events.
Work with Marketing Committee to coordinate marketing collateral and consistent communications cadence.
Donor Retention
Maintain donor database and manage donor giving campaigns.
Analyze donor metrics to optimize results.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational and Experience
Bachelors degree in relevant field.
3-5 years of relevant experience.
Previous experience in non-profit organizations.
Preferred experience with donor database management.

Knowledge of grant writing
Knowledge of different CMS platforms
Event planning capabilities.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
