Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description
As an Electronics Technician, you will work closely with leaders and partners to ensure food safety and partner safety. You will execute standard operating procedures, perform all required checks, and follow reaction plans for food safety and quality. You will also perform corrective, preventative, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment, as well as modifications, component replacements, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will be responsible for PLC and SCADA programming and maintenance, ensuring compliance with OSHA and NEC requirements, and collaborating with teams to improve plant productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Ensure food safety and partner safety by executing standard operating procedures.
Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for the position.
Follow reaction plans for food safety, food quality, and customer requirement outages.
Identify and understand customer requirements to assist in assuring proper operation and product quality.
Record accurate data on production reports.
Perform corrective, preventative, project, and emergency maintenance on plant equipment and utility systems.
Perform modifications, component replacements, troubleshooting, calibration adjustments, and performance checks on plant equipment.
Conduct PLC programming and SCADA programming and maintenance.
Ensure electrical equipment and installations meet OSHA and NEC requirements.
Plan, purchase materials, and perform modifications and major overhauls of equipment.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to improve plant productivity and efficiency.
Monitor critical equipment as outlined in maintenance procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a 5pm-5am shift on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with initial training on the 1st shift (5am-5pm) for 6 months. The facility is a food manufacturing environment producing cream cheese and yogurt, so some areas may be colder. It is a very clean environment with a positive team culture. Employees must be comfortable lifting 50 pounds, climbing stairs up to 8 feet, and performing repetitive motions such as twisting, stooping, bending, and reaching. The dress code includes long pants, t-shirts, steel-toe shoes, and a provided company uniform with your name on it.

This is a Permanent position based out of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55224.00 - $75732.00/yr.
-No probationary period for benefits or 401k
