Expertise and Functions
Provide project/program financials information and support to VP Profit and Loss business leaders and their Program and Project Managers
Identify and implement financial reporting metrics by project including budgets, spend plans, burn rates, work in progress, current margins, margin at completion, and other metrics as appropriate
Monitor project actuals, commitments, and progress to proactively resolve issues
Develop project financial forecasts/EACs and conduct variance analysis
Utilize projections to determine funding and other project needs and support appropriate personnel to create documentation required to support various requests
Interface with Contracting to support project/program financials reporting and contract performance monitoring
Review and analyze contracts, subcontracts, and agreements to ensure project meets financial and reporting requirements
Schedule tasks to ensure accurate reporting for multiple projects across each monthly accounting cycle
Initiate, monitor and maintain proper project setup in the accounting system
Communicate with various agencies as appropriate to understand project / program requirements
Work with AR personnel to facilitate timely processing of invoices and collection of payments
Create and maintain documentation needed to support financial entries related to accrued revenue, work in progress, and project inventory
Reconcile revenue and cost data to complete project closeouts
Analyze historical data to support pricing for proposals
Provide guidance to program and project managers to increase understanding of key financial elements and improve execution
Mentor and train junior analysts as needed

Requirements
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree desired
Management, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline preferred
Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work autonomously
Experience:
12+ years of experience in management and program oversight
Knowledge of government programs, reporting requirements and funding sources
Oversight of multiple programs with different objectives and deliverables
Understanding of budgets, performance monitoring, and accounting systems
Knowledge in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
Security:
Must be a US citizen
Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
