Food Partnerships Coordinator – $23.00 an hour

What will you be doing?

• Oversee Retail Donation Program in specified region though donor and partner agency engagement, trainings, coordination of logistics, and compliance with documentation, reporting, and food safety requirements.

• Be well versed in all Feeding America, corporate food donor, and local donor food donation contracts, SOPs, liabilities, and required reporting procedures.

• Consult regularly with Feeding America and retail corporate contacts on strengthening and expanding donations programs including new initiatives and innovative food sourcing strategies.

• Strategize and cultivate new food donor relationships through donor stewardship practices including excellent customer service, toolkits and visual aids, and regular, reoccurring onsite and virtual engagement.

• Collaborate across the organization with regards to the partner agency network and/or food sourcing opportunities including non-traditional donations, onsite branch-specific needs, and local off-site events.

What do you bring?

• Positive, can-do attitude.

• Bachelor's Degree in social science, human services, nonprofit management, or other relevant field required and 2-4 years of relevant work experience in customer service, project management, food systems/food industry, or non-profit required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Technological skills must include proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with data collection, record keeping, and working in a remote/virtual setting.

• Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license and excellent driving record
