Job Title: Level II Quality Technician

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team at UEC as a Level II Quality Technician. You will

be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our products through

meticulous inspections and adherence to IPC620 standards. This role offers a

climate-controlled, clean working environment with a small team of dedicated

professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process and final inspections.

• Measure components in accordance with drawings, review notes and standards.

• Conduct visual inspections and measurements without building or cutting parts.

• Review and maintain records to ensure compliance with IPC620 standards (training provided).

• Provide internal auditing and inspection support.

• Collaboratively resolve quality-related issues.

• Generate reports and follow up to ensure actions are closed.

• Enter data into corrective and preventative actions, and non-conforming materials systems.

• Assist in developing quality processes and ensuring tools/equipment meet calibration standards.

• Apply knowledge of standard quality assurance concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Provide information and knowledge sharing to achieve desired goals.

• May administer training courses as needed.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience; more is preferred.

• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and drawings.

• Precision measurement experience (gages, micrometers, calipers, etc.).

• Familiarity with ERP systems for accepting/rejecting units and recording data.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel for data entry and documentation.

• GD&T experience preferred, but willing to train.

Adaptability:

• Must be able to adapt to changes as SOPs are constantly updating.

• Able to cover other areas as needed.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. (Ability to work overtime)

• Typically working 50-55 hours a week.

• Weekend rotation working 2 Saturdays and having 1 Saturday off.

Pay: 25-32

Work Environment:

• Climate-controlled, very clean facility.

• Small team: 2 other technicians and 2 quality engineers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
