CAENS) at Tuskegee University is seeking candidates for the position Post-Doctoral Fellow in various disciplines of agricultural sciences. From time to time, it is necessary to employ Post-Doctoral Fellow to execute the work associated with various contracts and grants.

We are seeking applications from individuals with a Ph.D. in one of the following listed below.

Positions are available forminimum period of one (1) year for a 12-month appointment, subject to annual renewal based on funding, need and satisfactory performance for a maximum period of four (4) years. Post-Doctoral Fellows are nonfaculty position.

• Agricultural Economics
• Animal Sciences
• Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences
• Biosystems/Agricultural Engineering
• Entomology
• Food Science
• Horticulture
• Plant Pathology
• Poultry Science
• Rural Sociology, or related fields

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)

• Ph.D. in the area of expertise at the time-of employment.

Physical Demands

Skills and Attributes

• Experience in developing publications, including journal articles, and technical reports
• Good written, verbal communication, analytical skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Experience in computer systems and in using database management, spreadsheets, and word processing tools (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
• Experience in data analysis, including statistics, and writing various reports
• Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse ethnic backgrounds
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others as a team member
• A person must have a proven track record of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
