Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and resolving quality issues on rollers before they are packed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rollers for defects and quality issues

• Document and report any quality discrepancies

• Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging

• Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality concerns

• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area

• Follow safety protocols and company policies

Essential Skills

• Inspection

• Quality control

• Quality assurance

• Blueprint reading

• General labor

• Use of micrometer and calipers

• Visual inspection

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control role (at least 1 year of manufacturing experience)

Work Environment

Industrial work environment. Clean, well-lit shop. 2nd shift Monday-Thursday, 2 PM - 12:30 AM. PPE required includes steel-toed shoes (all other PPE will be provided).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
