Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and resolving quality issues on rollers before they are packed.
Responsibilities
Inspect rollers for defects and quality issues
Document and report any quality discrepancies
Ensure all products meet quality standards before packaging
Collaborate with the production team to address and resolve quality concerns
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
Follow safety protocols and company policies
Essential Skills
Inspection
Quality control
Quality assurance
Blueprint reading
General labor
Use of micrometer and calipers
Visual inspection
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control role (at least 1 year of manufacturing experience)

Work Environment
Industrial work environment. Clean, well-lit shop. 2nd shift Monday-Thursday, 2 PM - 12:30 AM. PPE required includes steel-toed shoes (all other PPE will be provided).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
