Summary
Provides a full range of banking services to small businesses, companies with annual sales of up to $20 million, with emphasis on client contact, sales, and service. Manages complex accounts or has an assigned market region of a complex nature.
Key Responsibilities Include
Develops new small business relationships through calling on targeted potential clients; uncovers prospect needs for commercial products and services and recommends solutions; develops sales plans and strategies; works closely with other departments and fulfills cross-sell opportunities; finalizes and helps structure and close deals with high close rate; answers questions.
Builds and maintains a portfolio mix of targeted high value and high potential small business clients; determines Strategy and focus for the small business department and region.
Acts as a financial advisor by educating the customer about financial strategies (e.g. financial planning, investments, insurance, credit, market trends) based on customer profile and financial plan, and matching customer needs with appropriate products and services. Monitors customer information/products, financial plan and market trends to identify new customer needs and opportunities to deliver further customer value.
Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
Qualifications Include
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent in work experience) is required for consideration; Masters preferred.
3 - 5 years of directly related experience is required, 5+ years preferred (or comparable professional experience)
Accurate typing, spelling and grammar skills.
Proficient with applicable computer software.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Good organizational and customer service skills.
Lending and/or sales experience.
As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
