Look no further because we are currently seeking a PER DIEM / FLEX Security Officers to join our growing USI team in Edgewater, New Jersey! Security Officer Job Responsibilities:Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.Drives at the required speeds permitted to allow close observation and safety of residences, facilities, and parking lotsInvestigates & reports security breaches, open doors, incidents, and other alarming or suspcious activity to the shift supervisor.Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.Tickets and facilitates towing of illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the property's parking rules and regulations.Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements Schedule & HoursWe have Per-Diem, on call availability for this location with various schedules and flexibility required:$19.50PHOpportunities to move into full-time positions within 3-6 months! (Based on availability, performance, attendance, etc.)Security Officer Qualifications and SkillsMinimum of 1 year security experience required.Minimum of 1 year vehicle patrol experience required.Flexible Schedule- Ability to pick up shifts as needed, especially night and weekendsMust be able to drive/patrol/ use electric bike for up to 8 hours.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.Ability to work inside and outside of designated community, with possible exposure to inclement weather conditions. Education and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredActive NJ SORA Security LicenseActive Driver's License + Clean Motor Vehicle RecordCPR / AED Certification required
