Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist (also known as Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologists) Application Fee: $230.00 Requirements: Official transcript with a baccalaureate or an equivalent or higher degree in a biological or clinical laboratory science, or field related to genetics. Verification documents of one year of experience in clinical genetic molecular biology in a clinical laboratory certified by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), performing high complexity testing in clinical genetic molecular biology. All documents must be sent directly to LFS from the source. Examination: Applicants must refer to the LFS website for the list of approved certifying organization examinations for each license category. Renewal: 24 units/hours of Continuing Education every 2 years. Average Time to Process Application: 150 days (5 months). Incomplete application packages may be abandoned 150 days after registration.
