(1) Specialization requirements for biology. (a) Plan One. A bachelor’s or higher degree with an undergraduate or graduate major in biology; or (b) Plan Two. A bachelor’s or higher degree with thirty (30) semester hours in science, to include twenty-one (21) semester hours in biological science with associated laboratory experiences; (c) Plan Three. A bachelor’s or higher degree with specialization requirements completed for chemistry, earth-space science, or physics and eighteen (18) semester hours in biological science.
