Landscape Architects must be licensed to practice in Idaho. Applicants for licensure must: 1) Graduate from an accredited architectural curriculum in a school or college approved by the board; 2) Complete or have started three (3) years of experience through the Intern Development Programor or have eight years of board-approved experience; 3) Pass an exam. The most common way to prepare for licensing exam is to complete a landscape architecture program at an accredited school. Term: Licenses are renewed annually.
