An individual who makes funeral arrangements; prepares, directs or supervises the burial or disposal of deceased human bodies; or performs any act or service in connection with the preparation of the deceased human body. The operation of a place for the preparation for the disposition of deceased human bodies or for caring for deceased human bodies prior to their disposition is also the practice of funeral directing and embalming as is the assumption of custody and the transportation and disposition of deceased human remains.
